Privacy Policy
How Macrolens collects, uses, and protects your data — read alongside our Terms & Conditions.
What we collect
When you register, we collect your name, email address, country, and phone number. We also record account activity such as last login time and IP address, and your notification and trading preferences once you set them in Settings. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor collects and processes your payment details (such as card information) directly — we do not receive or store your full card number ourselves, only limited billing metadata (such as the plan, amount, and payment status) needed to manage your subscription. If you contact support, we keep a record of that correspondence so we can respond and follow up.
How we use it
We use your information to: create, secure, and authenticate your account; process and manage subscriptions and billing; provide the Service and the features you use within it; respond to support requests; send account, security, and (if enabled) product emails; and maintain and improve the Service, including diagnosing technical issues. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.
Why we're allowed to use it
We process your information because it's necessary to provide the Service you've signed up for and to perform our contract with you (for example, billing and account access), because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure and improving it, or because you've given us consent (for example, opting into product update emails), which you can withdraw at any time.
Cookies and sessions
We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your session — these are necessary for the Service to function and can't be turned off without logging you out. If you choose "Remember me," a longer-lived cookie is used so you don't have to log in on every visit. We do not use any analytics or advertising trackers. Two third parties are contacted for reasons unrelated to tracking you: Google Fonts, for typography on the public site (skippable — choosing "Necessary Only" on the cookie banner falls back to your system fonts instead), and Google reCAPTCHA, on the Contact page only, to block spam submissions. Both are subject to Google's own privacy policy while their scripts are active. You can end any active session at any time from Settings → Security, which revokes that session's cookie.
Email communications
We send account-related emails (verification, password resets, security notices, billing receipts) regardless of preference, since these are necessary to operate your account. Product updates, weekly reports, and digest emails are only sent to the categories you've opted into under Settings → Notifications, and you can turn them off at any time from that page or via the unsubscribe link in the email itself.
Data sharing
We share data only with service providers necessary to run Macrolens — for example, hosting, our payment processor for billing, and email delivery — each under confidentiality and data-processing obligations, and only to the extent needed for them to perform that service. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Macrolens or our users. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we do not sell it.
International data transfers
Our infrastructure providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to be protected consistently with this policy.
Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward in case you return or as needed to resolve disputes or comply with legal or accounting obligations (for example, billing records). If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us and we will process the request within a reasonable time, subject to any legal retention requirements that override deletion.
Security
Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing and are never stored or emailed in plain text. We restrict access to personal data to what's operationally necessary, and use encryption in transit for data sent to and from the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using practices appropriate to its sensitivity.
Your rights
You can review and update most of your profile details at any time from Settings → Profile. Depending on your location, you may also have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, or receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@nptrade24.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, anyone under the age of 18 (see "Eligibility" in our Terms & Conditions). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or applicable law. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page, and where a change is significant we will make reasonable efforts to bring it to your attention.
